Here it is the second Rowntrees RANDOM video below, following the adventures of a ‘foamy gnome’, Random’s special pink sweet. As is the case with Random’s, most of the time you have no idea what is going on, which is half the appeal. Also, if anyone is following the Facebook group you may find this even more confusing than the video’s: ‘Hi ice creams! I am a teapot flower feeling monkey bike! I like Randoms, they are very squidgy chess piece. Bye post boxes!’….um, ok?
So the story starts with the Foamy Gnome who has left his flatmates, Jedward, behind and is off on a random adventure in his giant hot air balloon. Where will he go? What will he do? Fashion is a state of mind. Sounds like a cliché, but it’s the most truthful thing you’ll ever hear about clothes. A good example of that is those pictures taken right outside award shows, like the Emmys or the Oscars for example. Notice how those “hot or not” kind of articles about whatever the celebrities are wearing tend to always benefit whoever’s the “hipster” celebrity of the established famous person? That’s not necessarily because they have a better designer working for them or more money to buy a better dress. It’s often because of how they wear the clothes.

There’s no greater fashion faux pas than wearing something that doesn’t fit your state of mind, and that’s what having a fashion sense is all about. Dressing for the occasion is often harder than dressing for your personality, and being in touch with the latest couture fashion is also harder than being in touch with your true self. And this is true for both women and mens fashion: if you don’t live what you wear, you won’t look good. It’s like the old saying that, if you can’t wear clothes right, they’ll wear you. And, in the end, it’s you who has to come out the winner.

Mohair is long wearing and lustrous but keep them folded. Some wools can be machine washed.
Cotton is easy care and cotton sweaters are for anytime. It is virtually seasonless and the cotton sweater can go from the workplace to a weekend fashion statement instantly. Hand Washing a Sweater

All those sweaters you own that say they are “dry clean only” can be hand washed at home. It will turn out smelling better and it is better for the environment. To get started you will need natural shampoo, natural conditioner, three basins of water,two hangers and a towel.
Put some of the shampoo into your hand and then swish it in the water to create warm soapy water. Then put your sweater into the water and swish it around like washing, then when done, squeeze it to get the soapy water out. Next, put your sweater in the clean water for a rinse. Squeeze out as much water as possible without twisting the sweater. Now it goes in the water that you have put conditioner in. Swish around the same way.
Lay your towel out flat on a table. Take your sweater out of the water and squeeze one more time, again, no twisting or wringing as this will misshape the sweater. Lay the sweater as flat as possible on the towel, roll up the towel and push on it so the towel absorbs the water. Hang up the sweater and put the second hanger across the waistline, like a hammock.
